Zones' Corporate Policy on Environmental Affairs calls for the company to publicly disclose information on its environmental programs and performance. Zones tracks environment-related indicators in the following areas: power consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, waste disposal and recycling, and water usage.

Zones, Inc. GHG Emissions: In 2007 Zones retrofitted the lights within its corporate headquarters. Under the same initiative an automated HVAC management system was installed.

To use less energy and gain additional cost savings Zones will kick off a "Lights Out" initiative to turn off computer monitors and cubicle lights Q2 2012 with a goal of reducing FTE usage by 5% during 2012.

Zones, Inc. Water Conservation and Waste Management: In July 2012 Zones will begin posting water usage, garbage and recycle statistics on its website. In 2010 Zones began retrofitting its lavatories by installing motion sensor faucets and hand dryers. This remodel will reduce water and paper towel waste.

Though Zones practices a regular recycling program, an awareness campaign will commence January 2012. The campaign will include signage, newsletter and lobby screens messaging. The result of this practice will shift the ratio between waste and recycle materials by 10% during 2012.
