Citrix OPEN Licensing Simple access and points-based discounts with Open Licensing Open Licensing provides corporate customers implementing Citrix® MetaFrame® Access Suite greater flexibility in licensing, purchasing, installing and maintaining Citrix products. This is available to all customers meeting the minimum purchase requirements. Open Licensing is available for all current Citrix products. Pricing Open Licensing follows a transaction-based model with four corporate levels of discounts, allowing you to combine points across all selected products in order to establish a higher discount level. One additional "education" program level discount is provided solely for eligible academic entities. Pricing and discounts are based on the level of points attributable to your initial purchase order. You will receive an Open Licensing Worksheet at the time of initial purchase and help to clarify the details of the transaction. Throughout the one-year term of your registration, additional orders can be placed at the same discount level by your organization or any of your affiliates. If a reorder exceeds the current point and discount level, you may be eligible to start a new twelve-month period of reorders a higher discount level. The Open Licensing Program is easy to administer and works well for all types of companies, centralized or decentralized. There is no customer reporting required under the Open Licensing Program. Support Services The Citrix Services Portfolio can be added to an Open Licensing purchase order but does not count for additional points. The Citrix Services Portfolio includes a comprehensive collection of Citrix technology services designed to meet the demanding needs of any customer. These services enhance customer IT investments through Preferred Support Services, Citrix Consulting Services and Citrix Training and Certification. Subscription Advantage Products purchased under the Open Licensing Program also include Subscription Advantage for all applicable products. Subscription Advantage provides a convenient way to keep your Citrix software current and maximize their server-based computing investments. Not only will you receive software upgrades, enhancements and maintenance releases that may become available during the term of your Subscription Advantage, you will also get priority access to important Citrix technology information and customer service news. Subscription Advantage is for a one-year term. Is Open Licensing right for my organization? For entry into the Open Licensing Program, you must register. Registration in the Program does not obligate you to make a purchase under the Program. Should you later wish to make a purchase, your minimum initial purchase must be for 1500 points. Reorders must be for a minimum of 100 points. Your submission of a purchase order with your Registration Number and Customer ID to Zones shall constitute your acceptance of the then current program terms for that purchase. All transactions are final. Returns are not accepted. Contact your Zones Account Representative for the minimum initial purchase requirement and the minimum re-order requirement in your geography for the Citrix products. Your submission of a purchase order with your Registration Number and Customer ID to an authorized Citrix reseller shall constitute your acceptance of the then current program terms for that purchase. All transactions are final. Returns are not accepted. Product Licenses Your Citrix license type varies by product family. The concurrent user license and named user license are the most frequently available license types across Citrix products. Your Zones Account Representative can clarify the license types available for the Citrix products of interest to you. Upon purchase, the applicable license is shipped with the selected product in click-to-accept format with your acceptance occurring upon product installation. Deliverables You have the option to order either a tangible media kit or receive electronic delivery of the object code for each product. In either event, you will receive electronic delivery of a license key or Web key which will allow you to activate the object code for the number of licenses you have purchased. Program and License Update Citrix will occasionally update these Easy Licensing Program Terms and/or its product licenses. They will also revise the "last updated" date at the top of the Program Terms and/or the relevant product licenses. Any changes apply only to your purchases on or after the date of change. You are not obligated to make additional purchases. Citrix maintains the right to terminate the Easy Licensing Program for any or no reason upon thirty (30) days prior e-mail notification to you.
