VMware vShield Bundle
VMware vShield Bundle offers better than physical security for virtualized datacenters. It brings together the advanced capabilities of four vShield products to deliver integrated, adaptive and cost-effective security services and management that protect virtual datacenters and cloud environments from the network edge to applications and data through to endpoints. VMware vShield Bundle includes all vShield products - vShield App with Data Security, vShield Edge, vShield Endpoint and vShield Manager.

VMware vShield App
VMware vShield App gets deep visibility into network communications and enforce granular policies with security groups. Eliminate hardware and policy sprawl with a cost-effective solution that offers better-than-physical security.

VMware vShield App with Data Security
VMware vShield App with Data Security scans within virtualized workloads for sensitive data - such as credit card information - and reports violations of regulations (such as PCI-DSS), enabling IT organizations to quickly assess the state of compliance with regulations from around the world. Also included is VMware vShield Endpoint, which offloads antivirus file scanning, minimizing antivirus "storms".

VMware vShield Edge
VMware vShield Edge integrates seamlessly with VMware vSphere and includes essential network gateway services so you can quickly and securely scale your cloud infrastructures perimeter. Deployed as a virtual appliance, vShield Edge provides firewall, VPN, Web load balancer, network address translation (NAT) and DHCP services to monitor packet headers for source and destination IP addresses.

VMware vShield Endpoint
VMware vShield Endpoint strengthens security for virtual machines while improving performance for endpoint protection by orders of magnitude. vShield Endpoint offloads antivirus and anti-malware agent processing to a dedicated secure virtual appliance delivered by VMware partners. The solution is designed to leverage existing investments by allowing you to manage your antivirus and anti-malware policies for virtualized environments with the same management interfaces they use to secure physical environments.

VMware vShield Manager
Included with all vShield products, vShield Manager provides a central point of control for managing, deploying, reporting, logging and integrating vShield as well as third-party security services. Working in conjunction with vCenter Server, vShield Manager enables role based access control and separation of duties as part of a unified framework for managing virtualization security.
