Leadership Team

Firoz Lalji is Chairman of the Board and Co-founder of Zones, LLC. Lalji stepped down from the CEO role and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board for Zones and remain involved in the company's long-term vision and strategic direction. Prior to his tenure at Zones, Lalji was the founder, president, and CEO of Kits Cameras, Inc., which he built into a chain of 225 stores across the U.S. and Canada. Lalji obtained his Bachelor of Science degree (Economics) from the London School of Economics and attended Harvard Business School. He serves on multiple advisory boards, including the board of directors of US Bank of Washington, the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, the London School of Economics, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. Lalji is also founder and chairman of the Program for African Leadership (PFAL) Foundation as well as the Program for African Leadership at the London School of Economics.

Yehia Omar is a seasoned senior executive with decades of global leadership experience across private, public, and private equity–backed companies. He has led multi-billion-dollar organizations in the technology and IT services sectors, driving transformation, growth, and operational excellence on a global scale.

Before being appointed CEO of Zones, Yehia served as a board member of the company. His previous roles include President of Megalos Consulting, an M&A Operating Advisory and Management Consulting firm, CEO of Curvature, a global IT solutions and Data Center Services Company and Corporate Officer, Senior Vice President and Executive Committee Member at Xerox Corporation. Over the course of his career, he has held a range of global senior leadership positions across North America, EMEA, LATAM, APAC, Eurasia, and South Asia.

Yehia holds a bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, and auditing from Mansoura University. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP).

Saad Ayub was named Chief Digital and Innovation Officer (CDIO) in January 2022. In this role, he is responsible for managing the digital transformation organization and Global IT. Saad leads the overall digital strategy to develop new innovative products and enable the enterprise-wide transformation of Zones' business model.

Saad has a long track record of leveraging digital and emerging technologies to transform organizations, formulate new business models, and facilitate enterprise growth. Prior to joining Zones, he served as the Global CIO at Scholastic and as Divisional CIO at Aetna and The Hartford. He also worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients on technology strategy and IT transformation. Earlier in his career, Saad was a research scientist, and product developer focused on Artificial Intelligence at GE Corporate Research & Development and GTE Labs.

Saad has been named one of the Premier 100 IT Leaders by Computerworld magazine and has spoken at various conferences on IT leadership. He completed both his Ph.D. in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and his MBA from RPI in Troy, NY, and graduated with a BSc in Computer Engineering from METU in Ankara, Turkey.

Tony Berg is a seasoned technology leader serving as the Senior Vice President of Solutions & Architecture Organization at Zones, with over two decades of expertise in IT, sales strategy, and digital transformation.

Prior to joining Zones, Tony held impactful roles at World Wide Technology (WWT). Most recently, as Vice President of Retail Sales and Strategy, he led a $500M+ retail practice, focusing on enhancing customer and employee experiences through technology integration and digital innovation.

Earlier, he served as Chief Technology Officer for North America, guiding cross-functional teams in implementing advanced technologies that achieved measurable business outcomes. His leadership experience includes roles such as Vice President and Chief Technology Advisor for the Global Enterprise Segment, overseeing teams responsible for $9B in annual sales.

Tony is known for his technology acumen, business expertise, and data-driven decision-making. He holds an MBA from Baker University, an MA in Higher Education, and a BA in Liberal Arts and Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
