Rus Day was named EVP, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer in April 2022. Rus is a proven global executive with leadership experience in finance, operations, and mergers & acquisitions. He also brings exceptional expertise in strategic planning to the company. Prior to joining Zones, Russell held multiple senior executive positions at Univar Solutions and Finning International Inc. This experience included most recently serving as CFO and COO of Finning's industrial solutions business, 4Refuel, one of North America's fastest-growing energy and power solutions companies.

A member of the Washington State Bar Association, Rus earned a Master of Law (LL.M.) degree in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Idaho College of Law. He also holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of Idaho.

Doug Eckrote was named Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Zones in March 2024. As a seasoned professional with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning multinational sectors such as business, government, education, and healthcare across the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom, Doug brings a wealth of expertise to his role.

He specializes in steering multibillion-dollar business operations, offering thought leadership, strategic analysis, and operational process optimization. Before joining Zones, Doug was a Senior Advisor at ULINE and held key leadership positions at CDW, honing his skills and garnering extensive experience in driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and achieving strategic business goals.

His remarkable track record includes professional distinctions such as being recognized as a "Forty Under Forty" honoree by Crain's Chicago Business in 2002 and receiving the "Gold Award Winner - Best Practices" accolade from Logistics Management in 2007 for the design and construction of CDW's North Las Vegas Distribution Center. Doug holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and has completed the CEO Perspectives program from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Sales and Marketing from Purdue University.

Sean Hobday was named Senior Vice President in January 2012 to lead the company's global expansion efforts in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, India and Canada. Since then, he has architected a global footprint to serve Zones global customers around the world.

Hobday has held multiple leadership positions at Zones, including director of client development, vice president of enterprise sales and president of Zones Corporate Solutions. Hobday has specialized in developing global sales and operational units to serve global clients in the enterprise and mid-market space. Prior to his time at Zones, Hobday served as managing director of Blue Ice Leisure in Sydney, Australia, an Austral-Asian division of First Team Sports.

Steve Merrill was appointed Senior Vice President of Global Service Delivery in September 2025. Steve leads all delivery business units within the Global Service Delivery organization at Zones. Throughout his career, he has held responsibilities for delivering end-user innovation, cost efficiencies, and service delivery excellence. Steve has a positive reputation for developing strong business relationships with proven accomplishments in financial management and operational efficiencies, while delivering business outcomes through a positive customer experience.

Before joining Zones, Steve spent 25 years at Dell Technologies and NTT Data, Inc. in various senior leadership positions, implementing end-to-end Digital Workplace Services and improving operational efficiencies through automation and margin optimization. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Baldwin Wallace University.
