Update on Supply Chain Constraints

    1. Supply Chain Disruption and Inflation Causing Delays and Price Increases
  • The IT industry is experiencing ongoing global supply chain constraints that are limiting availability of certain products, causing shipping delays, and, combined with current inflationary pressures, leading to increases in product prices. We are working diligently with our OEM and distribution partners and carriers to minimize the impact of these challenges.
  • Where we learn that certain ordered products are out of stock, we will monitor availability and can work with you to evaluate product alternatives.
  • Where shipping delays occur, we will seek to keep you updated with timely delivery estimates and to help you evaluate shipping and stocking options.
  • Increased demand along with product unavailability, shipping delays, and inflation are causing price volatility. We cannot guarantee that prices quoted by Zones or specified on your purchase order can be honored until/unless Zones is able to purchase at the originally quoted OEM or distributor price. Such prices are changing rapidly. If the prices on ordered products increase or if ordered products are not readily available, your Zones account team will work with you to evaluate other sourcing options.
    2. Recommendation on Best Practices to Alleviate Volatility
  • To ensure the greatest chance of securing needed products at anticipated prices, we recommend that you place orders as soon as possible—minimizing the time between receipt of a Zones quote and issuance of a corresponding PO.
  • Note that most carriers are imposing surcharges, specifically for residential deliveries. These surcharges will impact the cost of shipments to residences. To reduce such costs, we recommend shipping to commercial addresses, where possible. Note also that even on guaranteed services, such as Next Day Air, shipping delays may occur.
  • If possible, work with your account manager to forecast your needs at least six months in advance and place orders well before products are needed to improve the likelihood that your internal timelines can be met.
    3. Zones Dedication to Customer Satisfaction
  • We are committed to assisting our customers through these supply chain constraints. We will do our best to find the right product and pricing solution that works best for your business needs.
