Learn how Zones has tackled the challenges of COVID-19 and prepared for an even more successful future. The early action that Zones took to ensure customer success helped to be a stabilizing force during these challenging times. With a focus on the future, we doubled down on digital transformation as our go forward. During the keynotes, we will take a deep dive into the digital transformation that Zones has made and how it positively impacts our customers.

Today, many organizations often focus only on technology in their digital transformations. At Zones, we have taken a holistic approach that also includes organizational realignment and process re-engineering to transform our entire business operating model. We have three parallel programs: Customer Experience, Supply Chain, and Employee Effectiveness.

  1. Customer Experience: Increasing self-service, personalizing the digital experience, and generating data-driven insights.
  2. Supply Chain: Improving collaboration (customer, Zones, and supplier) across the entire value chain, enhancing analytics for planning and scheduling, and increasing productivity in the technology solution centers.
  3. Employee Effectiveness: Redefining workflows, increasing automation, and leveraging new technologies to transform the way our teams perform business functions.

We will share our strategy, journey, and lessons learned, and then demo myZones, a new centralized digital platform for enhancing clients' relationships with Zones.

Zones Keynote: Your Procurement - Powered by Zones

Speakers:

Vivek Singh, Chief Technology Officer, Zones

Krams Ramasubramanian, Director ECommerce Ops, Zones

Organizations are looking to simplify their procurement by having their supply chain partners integrate with in-house systems. At Zones, we have embraced the concept and provide a variety of options to help you transact from within your enterprise platforms or portals. Some of the ways we can work for you, beyond simply the e-commerce website experience, are as follows:

  1. APIs: Seamlessly integrate internal business applications like ticketing systems or ordering portals with Zones. Quotes and orders can be placed via secure API calls that eliminate swivel chair operations. Product information, order status, shipping, and asset information can be obtained as well, completing the ordering experience.
  2. Cloud Marketplaces: Effortlessly integrate cloud marketplaces such as Ariba and Coupa with Zones. We can handle hosted catalogs and punchouts to a custom catalog on zones.com with a branded look and feel.
  3. EDI: Reliably integrate using existing EDI and ERP systems to manage your supply chain. Zones can integrate with EDI feeds to completely handle all steps of the transaction.

With any of the above methods, Zones works internally for you to see the same view of the orders as you do in your systems, resulting in a consistent experience. All of this furthers our mutual goal of error- and touch-free transactions and cost reduction.

End User Backup and Restore

Speaker:

Don Bilbrey, Solutions, Architect, Zones

In business, data is critical – and data loss can be crippling. Recovering from a data loss incident can cost a business time needed to recreate the data, productivity while users wait for the data to be replicated, sales because of data-blind business decisions, and customer satisfaction. IT is being forced to invest in data protection solutions to ensure the integrity of their data and avoid these costly losses. This means doing more than simply acquiring disk space and scheduling backups. It means thinking strategically about the way data is archived, considering the requirements for data storage, addressing the risks associated with data loss, and purchasing the right infrastructure to support that strategy.

Our primary services include migrations (from one MDM to another), net new implementation, and managed services for corporate or point-of-sale solutions. We also provide training workshops where we whiteboard real use cases based on client preference and map out actionable timelines for deployment.
