The antimicrobial surface protection is 99.9 percent effective in inhibiting the growth of bacteria, such as C. diff and MRSA, and reducing the risk of HAIs in hospitals and other medical environments. A built-in replaceable 13A fuse controls all four outlets and protects against overloads by shutting them down if the equipment load draws too much power. The switchless design prevents the unit from being accidentally shut off, which would cut essential power to all connected devices. A green mains indicator lights to signal the power strip is properly connected to an AC power source.
