This USB-C to HDMI 4K adapter helps you transmit digital audio and 4K video from your desktop computer, tablet, laptop, notebook, MacBook, Chromebook or smartphone to an HDMI-enabled television, monitor or projector. It's an ideal tool for working in high-definition photography, videography or cinematography, as well as streaming video for digital signage in crystal-clear 4K.
By connecting the built-in USB-C cable to a source device that supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can output 4K video and digital audio to an HDMI monitor, television or projector without installing special software drivers.
The U444-06N-HDR-W supports Ultra HD video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 60 Hz. It's compatible with HDMI 2.0 standards for carrying HDR signals, which provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream iTunes and Netflix content with no complications. This adapter supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
Unlike traditional USB cables that connect in only one direction, the reversible USB-C male connector plugs into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port in either direction for a fumble-free connection every time.
The plug-and-play USB Type-C to HDMI cable requires no software or external power. Just connect the USB-C plug to the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on a source device that supports USB DisplayPort Alternate Mode, and connect the HDMI port to your 4K display with user-provided cables (such as Tripp Lite's P568-Series high-speed cables). This adapter is backward compatible with 1080p displays, allowing you to use it with older equipment.
