The HPE AppSystems for SAP HANA Single Node appliances provide a powerful, in-memory database for SAP and non-SAP environments. They are well suited as testing, development, or training systems. Supporting SAP database replication available with SAP HANA Support Package Stack (SPS) 05 and higher, these systems now offer optional high availability and disaster tolerant features as well. HPE AppSystems for SAP HANA Single Node provides a portfolio of standalone HANA servers ranging in size from two processors and 128 GB of RAM up to eight processors and 4 TB of RAM. The virtualization option for the large (1 TB RAM) appliance uses VMware to deploy up to 15 SAP HANA databases on a single physical server. This provides a range of cost-effective solutions for non-production use such as test and development.
