Jason Pernell is a Worldwide Sales Sr. Director for Enterprise Networking at Cisco Systems. In his role, he is responsible for driving the shift from traditional enterprise networking platforms to a more open, software driven, architecture. He enjoys spending time with customers and partners helping them navigate this time of unprecedented innovation to leverage IT as an asset to grow their business.

Jason has had multiple leadership roles at the company with increasing responsibility. Prior to his current role, he led the Southern California Area, and was responsible for a group of account teams focused on selling Cisco's technology portfolio to customers. In that role his team grew revenue and helped many of Cisco's top customers achieve their business outcomes.

In the Data Center space, Jason helped customers automate their environments with Cisco's Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) capabilities. As customers looked to create secure, scalable and automated data centers, Jason's teams would help them execute on their vision.

Above all, he takes great pride in helping customers achieve their desired outcomes through Cisco solutions while leading his organization to success within Cisco. Jason believes strongly in giving back and is an active participant in Cisco's college recruitment efforts, mentors aspiring leaders, and is a key supporter of programs and initiatives that help Diverse & Early in Career in and outside of Cisco to develop and grow. Jason makes his home in Southern California with his wife of 15 years and his two young sons. When he is not working, Jason enjoys spending time with his family.
