Server and Cloud Enrollment licenses product and services for both your on-premises and cloud-hosted data center and infrastructure
Enterprise Enrollment sharpens product manageability and reins in costs, when you equip your entire organization with the latest versions of Windows operating system, premium Office suite, or CAL Suites to connect users and devices to Microsoft server products.
With Enterprise Enrollment, you choose whether to run PC and device software, cloud services, or both throughout your organization. You can license both on-premises software and online services. As your business needs evolve, Zones can help you easily transition from on-premises licensing to equivalent online services. Such organization-wide improvements help you reduce user and device management, and support costs, and provide additional pricing advantages above the Enterprise Agreement's standard volume pricing levels.
Enterprise Enrollment is a good fit for your company if you have 250 or more PCs, devices, or users and want to license software and cloud services for a minimum of three years. During these three years, in exchange for your company-wide licensing commitment, you receive discounted volume pricing for core PC and device products and related CALs.
Server and Cloud Enrollment
Under your Enterprise Agreement, Server and Cloud Enrollment (SCE) delivers the best pricing, and additional benefits, such as cloud-optimized licensing options and simplified license management.
SCE provides the lowest pricing for Windows Azure, application License Mobility to the cloud, and new benefits to help manage Windows Azure resources. SCE also includes a new subscription-based plan that offers more flexibility when you are retiring workloads, consolidating, or migrating to the cloud.
Standardized and simplified
SCE contains just one Enrollment Agreement for server and cloud technologies. Standardized products and services simplify licensing and let you tap into the latest deployment technologies. Sign on for SCE's Core Infrastructure Suite (CIS) and get a combination of Windows Server and System Center with access to a standardized management platform that covers on-premises software and Windows Azure.
Cost savings and benefits
SCE contains the best pricing and benefits for server and cloud products, including discounts on new licenses, Software Assurance, and Windows Azure. If you have a high purchasing volume, you may also qualify for premium benefits, including Unlimited Problem Resolution Support.
To enroll in SCE, you must commit to Software Assurance coverage for the number of units actually in use for a particular type of system.
